The Culinary Art Club aims to promote the learning and enjoyment of cooking among its members. Learning to cook helps students gain valuable life skills and find a fun and rewarding hobby. Our goal is to organize cooking lessons and teach cooking preparation skills. Provide services to Oregon Tech's Student Support Services (SSS) eligible participants to significantly increase their academic achievement, retention, and graduation rates.

This Student Support Services Project is federally funded at $294,380 annually. Our objectives for the 2020-2025 grant cycle are:

1. Eight-one percent (81%) of participants served by the SSS Project will persist from one academic year to beginning of the next academic year or graduate.
2. Ninety-one percent (91%) of all enrolled participants served will meet the performance level required to stay in good academic standing at Oregon Tech (2.0 cumulative Oregon Tech GPA)
3. Fifty-one percent (51%) of new participants served each year graduated within six years.

Other past trips we have done include: rock climbing, horse-back riding, trap shooting, theme park trips, spelunking in the lava beds, and kayaking.

Most trips are offered at little or no cost. No previous experience is necessary to enjoy the events the OP offers, since the activities are planned for beginners and advanced adventurers alike.

In addition to sponsoring trips, the OP also offers low-cost rentals of equipment for a variety of outdoor activities. If you are planning a weekend expedition and don’t have the money to buy expensive equipment, the OP rents canoes, tents, backpacks, cross country skis, snowboards, and more at a nominal cost. The Outdoor Program office is located on the second floor of the College Union.

The OP is a student-funded and student-led organization that allows students to enjoy beautiful scenery that surrounds them for an extremely low & reasonable price! Non-students can also participate at a higher cost.

The Radiologic Science club represents a student body of approximately 100 sophomore and junior students currently enrolled in the Radiologic Science program at Oregon Tech. The purpose of this organization is to assist the cohort members in their success toward becoming radiologic technologists. The junior cohort provides mentorship to the sophomore cohort upon entrance into the program. Along with providing mentorship activities and year-round fundraising, we organize annual volunteer activities to better the community and promote the field of radiologic science and their post primary modalities. The club also aims to assist students financially in attending professional conferences and seminars to represent Oregon Tech’s RDSC program. At the end of each school year, we celebrate the accomplishments of the Junior cohort with faculty and family before they advance to externship at the annual Junior Banquet, which is budgeted, organized, and executed by the Radiologic Science Club Officers.
